"Fly to the world"

First Classroom became the basis of the direction of our family afterwards. My son entered into an elementary school in Australia where there is no Japanese, but he is fine with strong self-motivation.
He was selected as a school representative of a cross country contest and mathematical tournament and also participated in the district tournament.
While many foreign student families are staying only to make children learn English, we were praised from the school "You are the first family behaving like that !"

He is now the main player of local football club team. I hope that he grows not only with English skill but also with ability of flying to the world.

 

 

"Communication Skill"

When my daughter was in the second grade of elementary school, I was very glad that her teacher at a private interview told us "It is very reliable to ask Ms.*** in case there are quarrels or disputes in classmates, because she tells us correctly without prejudice and talk with either part equally with fairness."
I thought that it is because she spent the life in early childhood at First Classroom, making friends of different age, exchanging opinions naturally every day. She fostered self-esteem and that’s why she can be neutral and fair without prejudice.

 

 

"Skill of Expression and Individuality"

In the theater of festival, my daughter suggested that it would be better to play with more performed gestures to make the role. But students of the same team opposed to say "it is shameful. We don’t want to do it ". In the production, only the daughter performed a gesture and action that seemed to be useful for that role.
It is from this experience that I can say "the personality and talent of the child will not disappear even if she or he has bid of bad luck". I thought that it is because there is firm self-esteem that is nurtured by education of First Classroom to watch over children in the flow experience and let them do what they want to do and what they are interested in.

 

 

"Special Confidence"

To First Classroom for 6 years, we first went to the eldest daughter and two young sister & brother, then with two of them, and finally with youngest son only. I feel nostalgic there was sunny day, stormy day and heavy snow falling day, walking the way and talking with them every day.
There were various things in the six years as there were sunny days and rainy days, but I am happy that all three of us grew up in the First Classroom and were able to spend important time.
For the last year, FCS made a variety of initiatives such as mountain climbing and gymnastic exercises for my son, and it was really a luxurious year. I think that he got a special confidence and important things that lead to the future.

 

 

"Comfortable Time"

First Classroom does not force child to do what they don’t want and does not force them to perform for adults' convenience. Neither the athletic festival nor theater meetings had to make children practice with great stress. He had joyful and comfortable time, just moving his body and playing music.

 

  

"Able to say NO"
My son got a feeling that "I do not have to do something really disgusting," and became able to say "I don’t like it" to parents before putting stress on it. Even with lessons, he doesn’t want to continue unless he can respect teacher. For lessons that he thinks that he can trust teacher, he continues to learn for a long time. I don’t think that it is lack of endurance but I think that he knew that it is not necessary to do if it is really impossible and disgusting. He is getting tolerant.

 

 

"Personality"
While it’s been several years that my child entered elementary school which is different environment from FCS's freedom-respected policy, my child' s strong and even stubborn will is still alive. When she likes to do something, she continues to do even if whatever is around.
At an interval time of school, if she wants to read books when her friend invite her to play together, she is fine and refuse to say "I am in the classroom because I want to read books".

 

 

"Unchanging Individuality"

While it’s been several years that my child entered elementary school which is different environment from FCS's freedom-respected policy, my child' s strong and even stubborn will is still alive. When she likes to do something, she continues to do even if whatever is around.

At an interval time of school, if she wants to read books when her friend invite her to play together, she is fine and refuse to say "I am in the classroom because I want to read books"

  

"Higher Self-esteem"

She always does and behaves with her will. She does not do what she doesn’t agree with and doesn’t leave her decision to someone else.

She chooses friends who respect her idea according to occasion, rather than keeping with same group. She seems to be fully enjoying with her friends, and on the other hand, enjoying doing alone when she wants to do something in her own way.

 

 

"Individuality Worldwide"

She was admitted to international school in Shanghai. She doesn’t speak and express well in English but having joyful time with her friends. She eats well as usual and seems to request another dish at every lunch and snack time.

Sometimes I remember the life that we had in Japan and feel lonely, when I hear my daughter saying what she learnt from older friends in mixed-aged class at First Classroom.  

 

 

"How wonderful, mixed-aged class"

Thanks to all of you, my son had joyful time in relaxed environment. I think it is wonderful children of different ages play together. I am impressed to see older child help younger ones to fasten button wearing clothes.

Another kindergarten that I saw, denied to help by saying that it would prevent child from being independence. I don’t agree with it and I wish that we are in the society to help frankly someone in trouble, younger and elders.

 

 

 “Can immerse in favorite things”

Thank you for taking care of my son for three and a half years. Even though I think that his pace was different from other children, but he was interested in various things and immersed in his favorite things. I was really glad to see that he enjoyed every day. I think that it was also the original personality of him, but I believe that the wonderful environment of the kindergarten kept and raised his personality.

I always realizes, as we see the growth of our son, that values and early childhood educational environment of First Classroom is truly wonderful.

 

 

"Self-affirmation, Intellectual Curiosity"

There are many things that I am surprised. I thought that he was shy and naïve, however, unexpectedly he caught the person in charge at fresh fish corner of supermarket, asking about the ecology of fish, tried to communicate with all the English words known to international guest who he met, and invited older people to dance at the concert.

I am very thankful to FCS that not only individuality but also self-affirmation, intellectual curiosity were nurtured well.

 

 

"Lovely friends and parents"

Thank you very much. I think that I spent valuable time with teachers, nice friends, and guardians. (On the day of graduation) I really wanted to tell each one of my heartfelt gratitude, but I would like to say thank you for borrowing this place.
After completing the first classroom curriculum from 2 to 6 years old, what I think now is that what we experienced over the past five years at FC is sure to blossom after 10 years. Looking forward to what kinds of flowers are blooming, I will be sending my daughter to primary school.

"Important property"

It was only one year and a half since my daughter entered FCS, but she has got a lot of valuable precious things beyond that. I want to thank teachers who watched her growth warmly. I am truly grateful. Thank you very much.

She is going to be an elementary school student from this April. I am sure that the fulfilled time that she spent in the kindergarten leads to the next growth.

 

 

"Where I am also relieved"

I think that there was hard work every day for the teachers, but they always greeted me with a smile. First Classroom was a place where I was also relieved.

I am thankful once again that I was blessed with my friends and parents and she was able to graduate with gentle heart in a secure environment.
